9th
April 2008 : The Launching and Briefing Session
The
Launching and briefing session was successfully officiated by Mr.
Muhammad Faizal Ibrahim, MP of Marine Parade GRC. The total
of 31
teams representing 2 Madrasahs, 1 youth group and 28 schools attended
the session and 10 other applicants were put on reserved, this was due
to the limited space available at the HDB Hub Mall.

2:
22nd
April 2008: On the Job Assignment .
Facilitator
by Mr. Sujimi Mohamad, director of ScreenBox Pte Ltd. The
assignment for the participants were to produce a 1.5 minutes video
clip promoting their team/products for sale during the Grand Final at
the HDB Hub Mall.

17th
May 2008: Making an Entrepreneurs Seminar
Lecturer:
Mr. Ibrahim Ariff, Yescom Chairman, Mr. Paul Dunn from XL Foundation,
Country Manager Australia, Mr. Tim Wade from Tim Wade International
USA. All teams participants attend the one-day seminar.
Participants were engaged in open discussion with the
lecturers.

4:
6th July 2008: The Grand Finale
Participants
came as early as 7.30 to decorate their table space, arrange their
products and about 9am the venue was already crowded with
visitors. Guest of Honor Mr. Zainudin Nordin,
Mayor,
Central Singapore Districts was greeted by Malay dance from 3 Arts
followed by Chinese dance and Indian dance from Saints Anthony’s
Primary School.

19th August 2008: The
Awards Presentation
Guest
of Honor by Mr. Zainudin Nordin, Mayor, Central Singapore District. All
teams and participants were awarded with a participating
certificate. Winners received trophy and cash. Champion
received
challenge trophy, cash and trip to Bali for 3 days and 2 nights.

WHAT
THE PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO SAY:
“We
find that the project is a good platform for students to learn through

competition is fun. We learn how to earn money as well as a chance to
