Young Entrepreneurs Skill Competition (YESCOM)
The
Young Entrepreneurs Competition is a yearly event.
YESCOM is jointly organised by KESUMA and BERITA HARIAN.
Co-organised by BNP-BMW Group Of Companies
It's main objective is to instill entrepreneurs spirit in the young.
It has created a place in the heart of every student.

On the Grand Finale dated July 3rd 2011, students had the chance to set up and run their own companies at HDB Hub Mall, selling products with the start-up capital we had provided them with. 32 companies operated by more than 320 students sold hundreds of products, attracting over 5,000 visitors.
The aim of the competition is to inspire young people's interest in entrepreneurship, increase their business acumen, and develop their personal strengths.
More than 250 students marched to a Go Green objective as they attended the on-job assignment of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Skills Competition 2011 (YESCOM) on April 29th. at ITE College East.
Students from primary schools, secondary schools Junior College, Madrasahs and ITE Colleges head to the Main Lecture Theatre for an afternoon of business activities, start-up games, seminars and even video creation and recycling arts.

West View Primary School has won in Young Entrepreneurs Skills Completion in 2010 and 2011. The judges evaluate and select the winner according to their creativity, innovation, marketing and profitability.
Yescom is a competition where students been educate on the basic principles of starting and operating a private business, and inspires them to become entrepreneurs by creating a simple entrepreneurial environment..
